Unite&Solve video

Hey guys!
Its been a long time since ive blogged.
Im here to tell you about a project im running.
I want to help promote charities and their causes, and what better way to do that than getting you lot involved. This is a way of uniting against the problems we want to help solve and gives you a way of helping others. Is there something that you have always want to be able to change, but felt you couldnt or didnt know how to? Well im hoping this project will show you that there is always a way you can make a difference.
I'm hoping to put together a video highlighting the problems that you all want to change. This could be anything from; world poverty, the lack of global education, hunger, disesase to things like, insercurities, bullying and addiction. It really can be anything! To do this I need you to send me pictures/text/videos of what you want ot change. Once I have these I will put together a video which combines your entries wishes with ways you CAN make a difference and charities/organisations you can get involved with.

This is where you come in and what i need you to do:

1) decide on something you want to change, better or encourage.

2) Make a short video (30s max) telling me what this is. If you dont like talking on camera write it on your down on paper or on your hand and take a picture. OR if you would rather just write it in an email and send me it.

3) If you already have an idea on how you would help these causes make a video or picture showing me these (again it could be anything from using social media, organising events or any telling us about non-profits/charities you already know about etc)

4) send me your entries to lily_pad29@hotmail.co.uk,

5) i'll put the clips together and offer different charities that will help the causes you are concerned about.

I did say i needed entries by the 10th but i'm extending this due to a lot of people being busy with exams, still try and get them to me asap! THANKS

Okay guys, i know i've been slacking
but i come back with a really important message, its nothing about beauty or fashion BUT i do need your help!
Lucas a 3yr old boy has been struck with Meningococcal Septicaemia in early January, which has resulted in him losing both his legs. Now Luca needs our support!

Happy Birthday Mam

Hey everyone!
Hope you are all okay

It was my momma's birthday yesterday and we went out for a meal with my nanna and my younger brothers :)

I felt like a change yesterday so cohse to waer my hair extensions with a light curl over them :)

Im not quite sure how i feel about it, im just not used to having them back in, might have to wear them a bit more. What do you think?

Party Time

Sooo a lot of my friends are turning 18 (boo hoo still have to wait till April)
Decided to rock the fake eyelashes last night, im not really sure if i like them, next time i think i'll opt for a smaller set :)

A day of love?
More like a day of de cluttering to me, spent the full morning sorting out my wardrobe and tiding my room - now that really is an acheievement :)

Say what?!

Hellooooo :)
its been a while, sorry

so today i met up with Lauren and we went for a lunch date, we are tooo cute.
its a bit of a  pain because my days off she works so we finally met up :)
But not only did we have some lunch, we went shopping, which was definately lethal.
I would post what i bought but theres an outfit i want ot put together so you guys will just have to wait haha:) 
Today would have been a really lovely day if it wasnt for a tupid bus driver. long story short; i had to pick up my little brother up from school so went ot get the bus.  But NO the bus driver decided to look and me and Lauren, close the door and drive off.
Which meant i had to get next bus and run to get to school on time, i must have look demented to anyone driving past!! GRRR  i was livid and the stoooopid driver.

Think i may ring company and complain, would you?

Meet Upendo :)

What you may not know about me, is that in summer 2011 i visited Kenya & Tanzania with a charity my secondary school founded 'The Meserani Project' (check it out.)
It truly was a life changing experience and as a result; i began to sponsor a child through her four years of secondary education.
I got my first letter from Upendo the other day and now i have a video from her, i wanted to shre this with you. It really does show how we can make a difference.

Good News :)

So i posted about my university interview the other day, i felt it went horribly but i got some good new today; i got in yaaaay- well its condtional but still!

Literally im so happy, its the uni i really want to go to, Salford (if any of you go.) Im going to do journalism and its at the media city. Its super cool and its where the BBC & ITV are; so theres lots of great oppourtunity. All i need to do now is get 3 B's which we will achiveable if i graft in my exams.

So that was all for today, i just wanted to share my news :)

Interview outfit! (arrgh)

Hey guys,
so i had my interview at Salford university today ahhhhh. i wanted to make sure i looked smart but not too overdressed. I opted for my new velvet leggins (Oo soft) and my snake skin effect shirt.

I also chose the doughnut look for my hair today :)

my hairs still quite short so its one of the only things i can do that looks nice but up at the same time.

So after the ordeal of finding something to wear it was off to Salford (Manchester) for my interview. To be honest it could have went a lot better and i probably not got in. But ive got to be optimistic and hope for the best. Its the uni i really want to go to so keep your fingers crossed for me :)

Good things..

So i know alot of you are intrested in fashion and makeup; wghich truthfully doesnt come natrually to me. Im not one of these people that instantly know whatsw going to look good or bad. I cartainly am not confidnet with how i look as many of you will also have insercurites as well. My biggest one, - not counting my non existent figure - was my skin. I wasnt one of the teens that was blessed with clear skin and that avoided blemishes.

I always kept a strong facial care regime in a bid to minimise the chance of me getting those dreaded black heads or spots. Believe me i tried everything i could think of, nothing seemd to work for long though.  That was until i stumbled across GOOD THINGS.

After tirelessly GTS (google/googling that shit) to find an answer, i cam across an America company 'YES TO..' that made organic skincare products free from al parabens. I thought finally i had found my answer, until i realised, it was damn hard to get hold of in the UK. Thats when i came across GOOD THINGS. They are a company that produce skin care using fruits and berries and that is also free from parabens. After all you would apply chemicals direct to your skin so why do it through your skin care regime.

I now use the GOOD THINGS products daily anything from their 'Spot that' spot stick to there Cranberry flavoured clensing wipes. my skin now is clearer, moisturised, feels good and as a bonus smells great.

Monday Moves

From now on, on Mondays i am going to post something called monday moves. I do a lot of street dance and at times i try to dapple in choreography - but it doesnt always work out. To find inspiration im always seacrching youtube to find video of dance performances. After watching Chris and Wes: Lets do this i found this video of youtube.

:( its been cold boring and hard to translate because the kitchen staff  dont speak much english. i think i should learn chinese, haha.

For the front otday i just twisted each side and griped them up. I also thought i'd give you a closer shot of my earrings as i love them soooo much :)
