Sales sales sales :)

So i finally hit the sales on the Tuesday and got myself some wicked bargains - if i do say so myself :)
It wasnt as manic i tohught i was going to be in town and i even braved topshop, im such a hardcore shopper you see. I didnt get into town to late morning as me and my mam went to visit a friend on their birthday. But i still managed to bag myself some great things. Just a quick blog to show you what i got.

Its christmas time :)
hope everyone had a great day and spent some quality time with the family.  I had a fab day and actually managed to get a good nights sleep in christmas eve - my parents didnt as my brother woke up like every hour - oops.

with an early start at 6:30, the day was a very long one, but Mr Father Christmas was very kind to me. I got some clothes bit and bobs but what im most pleased about is my new Flip mino video camera . That was to the dissappointment of everyone i was with as i was recording anything and everything to make a special christmas video :) I went over to my nan and grandads for christmas dinner and i really did stuff my face with allsorts of srumptious food and goodies. Although one thing that wasnt too pleased about is that my nan forgot my yule log and i dont do christmas pud :( but hey there was lots of choccies for me to eat instead. After dinner we went round to my unlces to see my cousins which was really lovely as i dont see them as much as i'd like.

Then we movd back to my nans to see my grandads sister and her family. the night ended with some hilarious rounds of my new christmas game just dance 3. Lets just say we wont be entering BGT in 2012.

its christmas tomorrow/today/yesterday depending on where you are in the world, but either way its christmas time.
Ive worked all ths week, so havent really been in the christmas spirit but im sure ill have a great day tomorrow whatever happens.

Like i siad ive been at work all day, the first half was at House of Fraser and to imporve my festive mood ive had tinsel on all day - turns out the stuff is really itchy, so i dont advise it! then it was off to babysitting i go. The little girl i look after really is the cutest, we watched Narnia together before she went to sleep to wait for Father Christmas. It got me thinking what is the best christmas film to watch on the eve of the big day. Will it be Home Alone, Miracle on 34th Street, Harry Potter or even The Polar express. I'd have t ay my dead set fave has to be Its a Wonderful Life, it really is a beautiful stroy line following a Fathers Life. George feels down and worthless just wished he didnt exist, the films follows Georges journey through what life would have been like if he were never born. If you havent seen it, id definately recommend it.

I recieved a chrsitmas present today, ive been a bit naughty and opened it sshhh. It was from my bestest friend miss lauren collinson - she was part if secret santa but we cheated and still bought each other presents. She really does know me too well and i love all my presents. which included a lovely scarf to add to my mas-hoo-sive collective, socks, jewelry, nail polish, some amaaazing scented candles as im just a fire starter haha and and really cutesy tea set. Im sure that will come in handy for our afternoon tea and catch ups.

I know christmas isnt about giving but its certainly something when you receive something that fits you like a glove, it makes you relise how good your friends and fanily are & and that is what christmas is about.

Hopefully ill have something to go with all my nice new accessories to wear tomorrow, it'll be my Sunday Selection and ill try a blog it tomorrow night.

Secret Santa...sshh

Festivities are in full motion now, but the Christmas spirit has been a bit low this year. All I needed was a catch up with some of my closest friends and so the mystery of secret santa was revealed.

There is absolutely nothing better than being surrounded by positivity and the comfort of friends. I had such a great time even if it was cut short - boo work :( - it was great to just kick back and relax. It made me remember the importance of this time of year; it's not about stressing about presents its about friends, family & having fun.

I got some gorgeous presents of my secret Santa and well some funny presents too, but I think we'll keep that between us. After all a girl has got to have some secrets!

Its now officially the chirstmas holidays; time for christmas movies, eating and chilled days, right?
WRONG! That is most certainly wrong, you finish college only to have to revise, gain more work shifts and visit family all at once.
I just needed a minute to catch up, the gain the benefits of festive cheer!

So i headed out with college friends for some lunch. I opted for some festive glitter it my wadrobe atire, wth my bargain dress ( i did wear it as a top though) teamed with some ultra skinny jeans - i soon regretted this after stuffing my face with cavery - and some cute black pumps.

I had a lovely day and it was great to see my friends one last time before college
